Concordia creates Student Food Bank: Tough economic times have hit Concordia students as hard as anyone. On top of the responsibility of tuition and studies, many students are finding it difficult to make ends meet because usually abundant part-time work isn’t available. To offset the strain many students are experiencing, Concordia is creating a student food bank. Concordia is installing shelving and setting aside an area of the Peter Schiemann Student Centre to house donated food. If you would like to make a donation, please contact Karen Hildebrandt, at karen.hildebrandt@concordia.ab.ca

In the dying seconds of extra time of the second half, Laura Ellis of the Thunder scored an 18 yard rocket that bended about 15 feet and struck the inside of goalpost, coming to rest in the opposite corner. The goal sealed the game and secured Concordia their first ever Women’s Soccer National Championship Gold Medal. Click here for more details...

In autumn of 2009 Concordia University College of Alberta will offer students
a Master of Arts in Biblical and Christian Studies. Students will receive instruction
in a specialized field of study. A wide-range of subjects is offered in three
areas of concentration including Old Testament, Studies, New Testament Studies,
and Christian Theology and History. Class sizes are small, which enables our
professors and instructors to work with students at a more personal level. Smaller
class sizes also translate into a variety of learning opportunities– individual,
